Purse DIY with Fendi ‘Mezzo Punto’
Fellow bag queens and designers or aspiring designers, rejoice! Fendi’s newest DIY purse is here. It’s a basic baguette that one can embroider themselves.
Called the Mezzo Punto, Italian for “half stitch” – the design is only half finished and the last touches are left up to your skills and vision using hand embroidery, or likely, cross stitch.
I would personally skip the F logos and make it something half my very own. What about you?
Unfortunately for fans and Fendi conceptual folks’ careers, the very women this kit targets, the DIYers and the like, still cannot afford it’s 900-and-ninety-five dollar pricetag.
For me it’s wait a couple years and eBay IT-Bag hunt it. For sure an untouched Fendi artist kit would cost more than retail after they’re off the shelves, but hey I’ll have more money then anyway so that’s just the way it must be for this bag queen / design freak.
If you want to snag it though, this limited edition is for sale this month. And it can actually be found in a local-to-me boutique here in Miami. Get info on the Miami Design District’s F Factory here.

I have to pay full price for a Fendi that isn’t finished. I’ll pass, thanks. Not a bad idea though for lesser handbag companies at lower (much lower) price points.
